Who We Are
Recognizing the need for continuing improvement in the quality of life, the Employees Community Fund (ECF) of Boeing California supports a variety of programs aimed at making our communities better places to live. An employee Board of Directors distributes funds, with allocations based in large part on the amount of ECF member's contributions in each community and the comparative need.
Grants are widespread in terms of both geography and subject matter. Some of the most fascinating projects focus on nature and environmental concerns and others translate directly to enrichment and enjoyment through libraries, zoos, museums, symphony orchestras and public broadcasting. Donee organizations are selected from those that assist people and cities in areas where employees of Boeing reside.
Boeing employees join in meaningful partnerships in support of community enrichment, education, health services, human service organizations, and youth programs. Membership of ECF of Boeing California is comprised of active employees of Company Southern California facilities who complete the online enrollment and authorize payroll deductions. Members recommend most of the agencies that receive funds each year.
Employee members elect the board of directors from employees of Company Southern California facilities. All requests for support are studied by ECF of Boeing California staff and are presented to the board of directors for their consideration.
